If your continually having difficulty finding relevant content to gain traction with your audience or if you seem to be running into dead ends and running out of ideas/tools to keep your creative juices flowing, then you need to develop or find a team that can assist you in thinking outside of yourself so that you can prosper in your marketing efforts. There are great things about teams that many people overlook when preparing to market to their audience.

1) Team members can see things you can’t, especially when you are so steeped in one train of thought. The problem with a rut is that as a person continues to follow the same path constantly, they end up digging themselves deeper into the problem. When we dig ourselves into a rut, we start to lose sight of what our customers want and need. The team here at Profit Platform is such an inspiration and they are always upbeat, they also have no issue with directing each of us to become better at our niche and to improve on whatever we are working on at the time.

2) Ideas beget more ideas.  A simple statement or thought shared among the group can spur on a new train of thought or an angle for a product that you’ve not seen before. Remember what Wayne Dyer said, “When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.”  There have been many times when I’ve opened up the page for our team and have seen someone’s new video posted and watched to give them feedback as they have requested, and I end up getting the inspiration for a new post myself or an idea of where to take something that I had been working on.

3) There is more benefit in the leverage that a marketing team can produce verses the ability of one individual. “I would rather earn 1% off 100 people’s efforts than 100% of my own efforts,” says John D. Rockefeller. Leverage is how the heavyweights in business stay at the top of their game and their industry. When we think about companies that were once heavyweights and are no more, we realize that they stopped tapping into the leverage of their industry and were left in the dust—think about Sears & Roebuck Co. or Rickels Lumber or the US Postal System.

4) There is also strength in a marketing team, strength that can be tapped into when you feel like quitting and giving up. For me personally, there have been many days when I first got into this space that I wanted to quit. It never failed, that I would join a webinar or a podcast, for whatever we were discussing that week and without fail someone would say something that would cause me to stop and reevaluate my thoughts and the place I was in, and how far I had come from when I started. I would have to refocus myself on my goals and dreams and keep going on the path that I knew was where I needed to be.

The benefits of a marketing team are so valuable and many times so overlooked. I encourage you to reconnect with a team if you have one that you have not tapped into lately. If you don’t have a marketing team form one so that you can be protected as you grow and build your business. If you need a team and don’t want to build one, there is a marketing team here at Profit Platform that is ready to be tapped into so that you can be all that you can be in your field of expertise.
